Happy 4th of July from Lavi!
We traveled to Visalia for the 4th of July and Grandpa Paul's 80th birthday bash. Aunt Marilou decided to get grandpa a yorkiepoo for his birthday...while meeting the puppy, she couldn't help coming back with another one for Rod.
I am pleased to introduce:
PETEY
SCOOTER
These lil puppies were full of fun once they got use to their surroundings. Although they loved Lavi, we couldn't help but laugh as she ran away from a combined 8 lbs.
As you can see Lavi is just as much, if not more, of a lap dog as the lil ones.
The party was a lot of fun. Here is Matt and Grandpa Paul.
The gang in the shade.
Kim and Scottie
and Sidney and Petey
...Next stop on our trip - Shaver Lake.

Road Trip Part 1 - Southern Oregon
We left a sizzling 90 degree Portland to spend 2 days in the baking 104 degree Grants Pass area. Luckily, our motel was situated on the Rogue River with many trees for shade. Here is Matt on our deck.
As we all know, Lavi is not a fan or water. Here we are sitting a little to close for Lavi's comfort.
We took a walk in "town" and came across one of the "locals". Lavi is lucky to have her big strong daddy there to protect her from the yeti!
The next day we went on a Jetboat tour down the Rogue. It was a good thing we went on the morning tour, it was hot out there!
Still in Grants Pass...but it is pretty.
Highlight of the trip was seeing the Hellsgate Canyon. It doesn't look to scary from here but it can be.
We left the next day to continue our drive down to Visalia, CA. Keep tuned for Road Trip Part 2 - Puppies and the 4th.
