As you can see, Lavi is very excited about her new collar - made from the Alexander tartan!!!! Well, maybe we are a bit more excited about it than she is.
This is the same material we made Matt's wedding vest from. It was given to us by a long lost cousin who traced the geneology and registered this tartan under "Alexander of Menstry". Menstry is the name of the Scottish village where this group of Alexanders began and lived for over 200 years.
We have finally reached a point where Lavi is very good during her baths. She use to have her tail between her legs and shake a lot but now she just stands there (tail high) and looks sad. Here is my pathetic looking girl.
Here she is saying "Are you seriously taking a picture of me while I stand here all wet???"
In the end it is worth it when she is all soft around the edges and smells like an angel.
I am a proud wife and mother of one adorable baby. I am also the food and treat dispenser to the resident princess pooch and her faithful feline companion.
