Rose City Classic 2011

I attended the Rose City Classic again this year to watch Robin and Posha in their first rally novice event. This was their 3rd day of competition so they had it down by now. At this level, the dogs are on leash and need to follow the correct commands.





I was thrilled to see my friend Kennedy and her Pomeranian, Leo, in the same event.



Both Posha and Leo qualified! Since Posha qualified on all three legs over the weekend, she earned her novice rally title.



I also saw my friend Twylla with her Pumi puppy, Furgie. I had the opportunity to meet Furgie's mom and granddad at the Pumi Meet the Breed event. They are some rambunctions little critters and very tough I learned.

Dog show 2010

Yesterday I accompanied Robin and Posha (colored bull terrier) to the Rose City Classic dog show. It was just the first day of 5. She took Best of Opposite Sex. Basically, the Best of Breed went to a male, so she took best female.

Dog show

I went to the Rose City Classic dog show yesterday with Doug and Susan. There were so many unique dogs there you probably would never encounter. We watched the rottweilers and then the salukis in their respective rings. It was amazing to see Lavi's likeness in the Saluki's eyes and mannerisms. Unfortunately I did not get a picture of them. We also had fun watching the agility and obedience competitions. It was good to see some of the dogs screw up since most of the dogs we see on tv are superstars. Can't wait for our agility class on Monday now.
