Xmas minibook

SPOILER 4 KIM - Sorry the post office is closed, I wanted to mail this out. It will go out first thing tomorrow. Hope you like it.

This is a minibook I made for my mother-in-law to remember our Xmas celebration this year. I love the shape of the album (Cosmo Cricket). I only used papers from a kit she bought me on HSN.

Dog show

I went to the Rose City Classic dog show yesterday with Doug and Susan. There were so many unique dogs there you probably would never encounter. We watched the rottweilers and then the salukis in their respective rings. It was amazing to see Lavi's likeness in the Saluki's eyes and mannerisms. Unfortunately I did not get a picture of them. We also had fun watching the agility and obedience competitions. It was good to see some of the dogs screw up since most of the dogs we see on tv are superstars. Can't wait for our agility class on Monday now.

Dad's digital album

During our big snow storm I decided to work on a "heritage" album for my dad using a bunch of pictures I acquired from my grandmother before she moved. Since it was extremely cold in my craft area (the basement), I thought this would be a good time to get my feet wet on a digital album (one that I could work on in the dining room near the heater). Since it was for my dad, I really did not want to go too crazy with the embellishing, so I downloaded a free paper kit from Designer Digitals.

It was actually a lot of fun and very easy. After I had it printed at Costco in 8x8, I did add a few buttons, glossy accents and some brads. Unfortunately the pictures of the "hybrid" pages did not come out very well, so I am posting a few of the digital pages (pre-embellies).

Lavi wins Pup Picture of the Year on pdxdog!

We are very excited to be picked as one of the Pup Pictures of the Year on the pdxdog website!

We submitted the photo of Lavi's first trip to the Oregon coast. We had just pulled next to Netarts Bay and she was soaking it all in.
